Salt Marsh Paddle
Explore tidal creeks by kayak with a naturalist guide. Watch for herons, ospreys, and the rich life of the marsh at the water's edge.
We launch on a rising tide and glide quietly through the winding channels of the marsh, where the boundary between land and sea shifts hour by hour. Along the way we'll talk about how salt marshes work — why they're among the most productive ecosystems on earth, and how they protect the Cape's shoreline.
Basic paddling comfort is helpful but no experience is required; your guide will cover the essentials before we set out. Boats and gear can be arranged on request.
