Shorebird Tour
Meet migrating shorebirds on the outer beaches. We'll cover identification, behavior, and the remarkable journeys these birds make each year.
The Outer Cape is a vital stopover on the Atlantic Flyway, and in migration season the flats come alive with plovers, sandpipers, and more. We'll set up spotting scopes, work through field marks together, and follow the flocks as they feed and rest between legs of journeys that can span continents.
Suitable for all experience levels, from first-time birders to seasoned listers. Binoculars are recommended; we can lend a pair if you don't have one.
